Red and the Blue
I think it is quite tragic how divided my country is in 2020. And I have contributed to that divide by allowing my political feelings to ferment into hatred, and have expressed that hatred out loud at times.
Mind you, I feel at times justified in those feelings, but acting on them is another thing.
When I see people marching in my country with Nazi flags, it is difficult to contain my emotions.
But, while confronting Nazis and the like must be done, hatred will not heal anything.
This song is really meant just to acknowldege the sadness of friends and families torn apart by today's political morass.
